Brag of the Year Awards
Pick the best brag of the year
To the Shareholders of Brags Media:
We hope you had an amazing holiday season, filled with conference side events, office parties, and of course, those awkward family gatherings. But hey, at least you get to escape back to the comfort of your co-working space and pitch meetings, right?
As this is the first edition of VC Brags' annual shareholder newsletter, we are thrilled to welcome you as one of our early shareholders. We promise to bring you the most entertaining news and insights from the world of venture capital, including interviews with some of the coolest founders and VCs out there (even the ones who hate us), profiles of the hottest startups, and of course, our highly coveted (and completely subjective) Brag of the Year award.
But first, let us introduce ourselves. Brags is a media company on a mission to bring a little humor and lightheartedness to the sometimes cutthroat world of startups. We know firsthand how tough it can be - endless pitch meetings, sleepless nights, idea theft, and app store fees. That's why we're here to bring some laughter to the startup industry and offer valuable insights and advice for navigating the competitive landscape.
But let's not forget the quirks and personalities that make the venture capital world so unique. So sit back, relax, and let VC Brags be your guide as you embark on this wild journey of entrepreneurship. And remember, it's not about the destination, it's about the journey (and the equity).
Brag of the Year
Without further ado, the highly anticipated Brag of the Year award.
This year, we've got a lineup of impressive nominees vying for the coveted title of top bragger in the venture capital world. From well-established firms like Sequoia Capital, to provocative industry commentators like Prof G, to dark horse contenders like Harry Stebbings, the competition is wild.
But what does it take to be the Brag of the Year? It's not just about making the biggest investments or scoring the most lucrative exits. It's about having a unique vision, taking bold risks, and above all, using the most buzzwords.
So without further ado, let's meet this year's nominees and see who has what it takes to take home the Brag of the Year award.

And that's a wrap on another year of VC Brags! We hope you've enjoyed our lighthearted and irreverent take on the world of venture capital.
We've seen some major funding rounds, some impressive exits, and of course, the inevitable flameouts. And let's not forget the endless parade of buzzwords and jargon that seem to infiltrate the startup world on a daily basis. We may not have cured cancer or solved world peace, but at least we've brought a little bit of laughter to the sometimes-overly-serious world of venture capital.
So thank you for joining us on this wild ride, and we hope you'll continue to follow along as we bring you even more absurdity (and maybe a little bit of actual useful information) in the year ahead. Until then, keep chasing your dreams and never stop hustling (unless you're hustling to get another round of funding, then by all means, keep at it).
Best,Brags
